Venue 5/5 Panorama sunset and skyline views of Manhattan from Brooklyn. Perfect in the summer for patio outside, or a table inside the restaurant this two floor rooftop is the best place to look back at the city at night. The music and energy is great with a younger crowd. They also have blankets if you're cold. Service 4/5 Definitely reserve ahead of time when you come in as they're very busy, especially on a beautiful day. The servers were all very attentive, and the host was very accommodating for requests. The wait time wasn't too long and we were free to grab a drink from the bar or explore the second floor while we're waiting for a table after we had checked in. Food 3.5/5 The food could've been a little bit better in my opinion some of the items were more on the dry side, but the main selling point of this venue would be the drinks and the view that you get, which is why the average tasting food did not bother me as much.

Gorgeous restaurant overlooking the city; even enclosed the view is breathtaking. Wear layers; I wore a dress with bare legs and was chilly! Group of 7 fit comfortably. Drinks and food were phenomenal and service was fast and attentive. My favorites were the Lucky Bird & Dr. Rabbit drinks. The crispy tuna, Brussels and charcuterie were also so delicious. We were initially given a time limit but it didn't hold; we kept ordering. Likely for the folks ordering one thing and making it a photoshoot. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience here and will return.

Although the drinks, food, and music are awesome - I believe the best thing about Westlight was the service and the gorgeous view over Brooklyn and New York. Westlight has a hip but very relaxed vibe. Everyone is there to have a great time. And it get a little busy after 10 pm. But the music is lively and the bartenders are soo friendly and professional. Although there was plenty to choose from on the drink menu I enjoyed the special treatment of having a special creation made. My only gripe would be the elevator service to the rooftop bar but I see why the bar at Vale is all the rave.

This review is solely based on the cocktails and ambiance. We came here for some drinks during a weeknight, and had a pleasant experience. The view is probably the best part about this place. The servers were also very knowledgeable on the vast cocktail menu.

Truly a stunning rooftop. I came here because my friend who lives in nyc heard great things and wanted to try it out so me and our 3 friends came. We came on a perfect night. I mean check out that skyline sunset!! Sometimes businesses claim to be a rooftop bar but end up being on the 8th or 10th floor or end up being an enclosed space or something. This one is no joke. This does offer both inside and outside options on the top floor incase you wanted a more enclosed feel. I highly suggest making a reservation to ensure you get a table. The drinks on their menu are crafty and unique. A little too much for my liking, but you can of course get classics like a nice white wine if you're not feeling too adventurous.

Westlight, on the 22nd floor of The William Vale in Williamsburg, is the perfect spot for killer views and great vibes. The moment you step onto the rooftop, you're hit with stunning panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, the East River, and all of Brooklyn--it's the kind of setting that makes you stop and just soak it in. The food is all about small plates with a global twist. Our favorite orders were the octopus skewers which was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the chicken entree dish? Next level. The cocktail game is strong too--try the "Smoke & Mirrors" if you're into smoky mezcal drinks. The vibe is trendy but not stuffy. The space is sleek, and the staff are super friendly and happy to help you pick a drink or dish. I had the best waitress, I wish I got her name but she had a short pixie haircut and made me and my family feel so comfortable! Between the views, the food, and the overall atmosphere, it's totally worth it for a special night or a cool hang with friends. If you're looking for a spot to impress, Westlight's got you covered.

This rooftop bar has one of the best views and ambiance around. Since it's in Brooklyn, you get a nice view of the Manhattan skyline. I really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with the comfy lounge seats and big open turf area, which is also dog-friendly. Unfortunately, the roof was just about to close when we arrived, so we had to relocate to the 22nd floor with the restaurant. Most of the seating area was reserved here, so it wasn't as enjoyable for our group to have some drinks while standing around. The cocktails were nothing too special here though. I had The Purple and Fancy ($22), which was fruity but tiny. Overall, nice spot for a drink at the roof --especially when I can bring my pup with me.

Place is incredible looking with the views. You can sit outside or inside. We did not have a reservation but got a great seat indoors which we preferred since it was so sunny. Got the plum perfect cocktail. Loved it. We also tasted a few apps to nosh- the Coconut curry cashews and chic pea hummus puffs. Wow. Both were amazing. The hummus was Asian flavored and took me by surprise. It's been a while since I've had an innovative appetizer. Wish I had the recipe. The nuts too were delicious. Want to come back next NYC trip.
